Facilities Coordinator – Hudson, NY

The Facilities Coordinator is primarily responsible for maintaining the Association offices and properties and assists with Association vehicle maintenance. The Coordinator also helps to ensure the safety of staff, volunteers, participants, and the public. The Coordinator interacts with staff, volunteers, and the public in a cooperative manner at all times. The Coordinator also performs cleaning tasks as needed.

This position is primarily located in the Association’s Hudson, NY office, and typically reports to the Association’s Acra, NY office two days/week or as requested.

The 4-H Agriculture Educator provides youth-centered education utilizing a variety of methods for the 4-H club program and community sites including schools, libraries and after-school programs. The Educator also serves as a team member and assists in all areas of the Association’s 4-H Youth Development Program. Taste NY Market Store Associates – New Baltimore, NY

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia & Greene Counties has several openings, part-time and temporary, for the Taste NY Market located at the Capital Region Welcome Center in New Baltimore on the NYS Thruway (2 miles north of Coxsackie).

$17.00 an hour with a generous benefit package for full and part-time staff including health insurance, New York State retirement, free dental, paid leave and much more.

Primary responsibilities include assisting with management of inventory, operation of cash register, cash controls, inventory, customer service, food service and record keeping. Under the guidance of the supervisor, helps to keep the store visually distinctive and impeccably maintained – preparing product demonstrations, restocking, refilling supplies, etc.

Associates also discuss Columbia County & Greene County agriculture and local foods with customers to engage them in these areas and to provide information upon request about the food and farm products sold in the store.
